Workshop outline
Participants will learn to identify the characteristics of antagonists and recognise the difference between an antagonist and a difficult person with a specific problem. The workshop teaches methods to deal effectively with antagonists in a clear and just manner and look at ways to prevent the conditions in which antagonists thrive.

Who should attend?
People who work closely with a specific personality type- the person who seems to delight in creating problems and difficulties wherever they are. For the purposes of the workshop, they will be called antagonists.

How does an antagonist differ from a difficult person?
  • The differences between an antagonist and a difficult person and the motives of an antagonist in generating conflict
Characteristics of antagonists
  • The “red flags” that people should look for that define antagonistic behaviour.
Ways to deal with antagonists
  • Strategies to use when communicating and dealing with antagonists
Creating an open environment
  • Strategies that individuals and organisations can use to deprive antagonists of an environment they can flourish in

Optional extra
