Programme outline

This programme introduces the basic issues for the successful facilitation of a group. The programme covers the structure and planning of a facilitated activity, a variety of simple structured facilitation techniques, understanding behaviours in groups, and the opportunity to practice and receive feedback. Participants will:
  • Gain a clear understanding of facilitation and where it can best be used
  • Learn how to structure and run a facilitated activity
  • Experience a variety of structured facilitation techniques
  • Learn strategies for working with group behaviours
  • Have the opportunity to practice facilitating a small group

Learning method

Note
