Practical skills of liberating leadership
2 days

Programme outline

Leading a team of people is perhaps the most difficult task anyone can undertake. Leadership rarely comes naturally, but managers can learn and develop skills that will help them bridge the gap between leading and managing.
Key learning points:
  • Knowing our own preferred learning style and what this means in how we manage
  • Understanding the principles of liberating leadership, the research, its findings and conclusions
  • Understanding and developing the foundation skills of leadership, knowing what these are, and what being skilled in them entails
  • Working on the skills of motivation, communication and delegation to enhance our own performance and provide a positive working environment for those we lead
  • Meeting our own objectives for attending the course

Who should attend?
Team leaders and all those who lead others at first-line management.

Learning method
Presentations, discussions in small and large groups, exercises and practical activities.
