Programme outline This programme explores what being a leader is all about, helping you to become more aware of aspects of your personal style as a leader. By providing you with more insights into your own personality and preferences, we hope to make it easier for you to establish links between your own goals and those of your organisation.
Participants will:
Explore and identify the characteristics and components of leadership
Extend their understanding of their “self” using Myers Briggs®
Review their Emotional Intelligence (EQ) quotient
Learn to make sense of this information and apply it in their personal leadership development

Anyone who is a leader.
Learning method
The two days are designed to be stimulating, challenging and supportive, using a range of interventions from one-to-one coaching to group challenges and psychometric questionnaires. We recommend a residential programme for this. On Day 2, a second consultant joins the group for the one-to-one coaching.

A combination of one-to-one coaching, group activities and plenary discussions will be used to fully explore the MBTI profile and its meaning to leadership Leadership of self: Emotional Intelligence (EQ)
The foundations of EQ and their relevance to leadership
Developing self-awareness, self-regulation and awareness of others
EQ questionnaire - individual completion and findings
A combination of one-to-one coaching, group activities and plenary discussions will be used to fully explore the EQ findings
Formal opportunity for individuals to explore a personal leadership issue and identify personal action steps they can take to improve effectiveness.
